Your Summer Reading Can Help Nebraska's Survivors of Torture

Need a book for the beach or by the pool?  Head to Novel Idea Bookstore any Tuesday this summer and your purchases will help Nebraska's survivors of torture.

Every Tuesday, A Novel Idea Bookstore contributes 3% of their gross sales to a charitable organization. This summer's recipient is F.I.R.S.T. Project.

Located at 118 N.14th Street, A Novel Idea Bookstore opened in 1991. With support of family, friends and fellow bibliophiles the store grew and moved to its current location in 1992.

Family and friends support never stopped. The store was remodeled and became a home to two kittens found wandering the streets of Lincoln. "O.K" was found on the "O" street and "Silas" wandering around the shop.

On your way to Jazz in June, during your lunch break, or any visit to downtown Lincoln  during this summer please stop at A Novel Idea Bookstore to find something you love and give something to our community by supporting F.I.R.S.T. Project.
